Welcome to Auldstone House
Conveniently located on Dullstroom’s main road, within walking distance of the local restaurants, bars and shops, Auldstone House comprises 6 accommodation suites. Secure parking under shade-cloth is provided, with access through an electric gate. The six accommodation suites all feature WiFi, hotel bouquet satellite TV, and en-suite bathrooms.
Built in 2003, Auldstone House is also home to world-renowned Wild about Whisky Retail Shop and Bar, and Dullstroom Reservations. The building aesthetic is in keeping with the Dullstroom style of stonework and cottage-pane wooden window frames.
Solar panels and an inverter system ensure continuous power to all rooms in periods of load-shedding and other interruptions. There is a borehole and pressure pump on the property, as well as an elaborate filtration system, producing good quality drinking water.
Fireplaces keep temperatures at a reasonable level during those cold winter snaps, in some rooms, and electric blankets are provided for each bed. The five main suites all have views over the surrounding countryside, and the sixth is situated at the back of the property.
Suite 3 has an interleading door to suite 4 that can be unlocked by request.
